ALL LIVES MATTER

Yes, black lives most certainly matter,
But white lives likewise matter too,
Brown lives, red lives, yellow lives,
We are all part of God’s genetic brew.

Yet our skin color is so superficial,
Within our blood all flows simply red,
And resorting to protest and violence,
Will surely lead to more people dead.

We must accept the past is the past,
So on the living don’t cast the blame,
Mistakes have been made on all sides,
Don’t let wolves your hatred inflame.

Yes, this world is far from perfect,
Many social injustices can be found,
But know fighting against each other,
Leaves us all on very shaky ground.

In the Gospels Jesus said it so clearly,
A nation that is divided cannot stand,
Weakened from within helps the enemy,
This is something you must understand.

Now if you choose to resort to violence,
Jesus said that violence you will reap,
Thus it’s better to live your life in peace,
And God’s Commandments strive to keep.

The Bible says the greatest is to love,
So how will you fare before the Judge?
Will you abandon protest and violence,
Or hold on to your hatred and grudge?
