ARMAGEDDON

The battle of Armageddon was drawn nigh,
The fowls of the Earth were thousands in the sky.
The King of Kings gave His almighty yell,
Thousands of sinners died and were doomed to Hell.

Foolishly they had made their devilish plan,
Believing they could defeat the Son of Man.
Thus with many weapons they went to that plain,
Not realizing their quest was totally in vain.

For that Devil had truly blinded their eyes,
So that God’s holy Word they chose to despise.
Now at last those fools would learn the truth,
Indeed, God would give them their final proof.

The birds circled just waiting for their feast,
Yes, soon they would dine on both men and beast.
Trumpets sounded as the sky then became aglow,
It was time for Jesus those kingdoms to overthrow.

Suddenly the Lord appeared on His great white steed,
God’s Word would be fulfilled as had been decreed.
Right behind Him rode His mighty Heavenly Host,
Satan’s human horde then turned white as a ghost.

They already knew that their doom was for sure,
But alas, it was too late, they rejected God’s Door,
So now they would all meet a very terrible fate,
You could hear the opening of Hell’s wide gate.
