AS THE YEARS PASS

by Bill Kochman

10-16-2014

As the years slowly pass us by,
We oft ask ourselves, why oh why,
Did I do those things I did?
Was I crazy, did I pop my lid?

Wisdom comes, and foolishness goes,
God has a plan, our life He knows,
Pride is broken, humility springs,
We think on just important things.

Lessons learned, now we must share,
Our mistakes, we all must bear.
Teach our young, so they may learn,
If they don’t, it will be their turn.
