BREAD AND CIRCUSES

by Bill Kochman

Bread and circuses, bread and circuses,
It is really such a nonsensical way to go,
Strutting out their celebs onto their stage,
It is really meaningless you should know.

Trying so hard to impress the audiences,
With the biggest & most famous names,
If you are smart you will just ignore it all,
Don’t be taken in by the political games.

What really matters are the major issues,
Not what a Hollywood celeb wants to say,
So let’s talk about what’s really going on,
As for those celebs, just please go away!
