DAGGERS ARE OUT

All of the daggers are out,
It is now the season of lies,
The politicians drawing blood,
They don’t think we are wise.
Republicans saying one thing,
But Dems retort it is not true,
They all purposely confuse us,
So what are we supposed to do?
Truth is not important to them,
The facts they choose to ignore,
Only one thing they’re all after,
How many votes they can score.
But don’t be deceived by them,
They say what you want to hear,
Don’t waste your time on them,
Let their words go out your ear.
Just slice and dice each other,
Not caring how low they all go,
Exposing their dirtiest secrets,
And striking the deadliest blow.
Forget all decency and civility,
Or you won’t make it to the top,
I find their behavior sickening,
When will their ugliness stop?
