DECEPTIVE POLITICIANS

by Bill Kochman

07-29-2022

Deceptive politicians,
Lying through their teeth,
Endeavoring to conceal,
What’s hidden underneath.

They pass lengthy bills,
They say are for our good,
But you have to wonder,
What’s underneath the hood.

So much pork and riders,
Are attached to each bill,
But if the truth was known,
Would it become a law still?

Hundreds of printed pages,
Filled with DC legalese,
Does anyone read it all?
Someone tell me please.
