DOCTRINAL DEBATES II

Let me tell you that Satan is so smart,
He knew just how to get in our midst,
You see, some six thousand years ago,
God’s Word he began to wrest and twist.

Eve was that serpent’s very first victim,
But that gal was definitely not his last,
The Bible says during the First Century,
Killing false doctrines was a hard task.

Today the situation is even more tragic,
As brethren fight to prove they’re right,
So many have forgotten all about love,
But sly Satan, oh he stays out of sight.

He’s just so happy to see the division,
Because a divided Church is so weak,
Please take heed to this my warning,
Ask God to keep you humble and meek.

Yes, be persuaded in your own mind,
As we’re advised to do by Apostle Paul,
But regarding those doctrinal debates,
Be wise and don’t engage in them at all.
