DOMINATED!

Now some people often warn us,
That we will soon be dominated,
Our technology is taking over,
And to slaves we’ll be relegated.
But, friends, it is time to wake up,
Because that day is already here,
Even right now we are witnessing,
What those wise thinkers did fear.
Yes, so many decisions are made,
By smart AI, algorithms and bots,
Without real human intervention,
It is all just mechanical thoughts.
But if you should doubt my word,
Social networks offer clear proof,
Unjustifiable decisions they make,
Cause one to go through the roof.
Discrimination and censorship,
By tech which doesn’t understand,
The situation is now unbearable,
It has really gotten so out of hand.
But trying to appeal their decision,
Is a worthless effort made in vain,
For such tech is governed by rules,
And there’s very little you will gain.
There is no fighting the machine,
On quite fallible logic they depend,
Mercy and fairness they don’t know,
You will be disappointed in the end.
Shadow banned or even suspended,
Quite often will probably be your fate,
And so tell me, is it really any wonder,
High tech some have grown to hate?
