DOUBLE STANDARD

Point to anything in your room,
It was surely made by someone,
It did not just magically appear,
A factory is where it was done.

Yes, every object in this world,
Definitely had its own creator,
A thing just cannot make itself,
You will find out sooner or later.

But regarding our big Universe,
They promote a different story,
Saying there is no Maker at all,
Thus robbing God of His glory.

How they think makes no sense,
Accept one but deny the other?
That is just as crazy as saying,
You have a dad but no mother.

There has to be a certain force,
Which causes everything to be,
They will point to human hands,
But a creator God refuse to see.

Science speaks of cause & effect,
Indeed, it is an established fact,
Yet if you suggest a divine force,
Such a notion is quickly attacked.

Thus we see a double standard,
Concerning some men of science,
But as for me I’ll just trust in God,
In His Word I will put my reliance.
