DRONES

Look at all those pretty drones,
As they fly throughout the air,
Some people really like them,
But to others they give a scare.
Now where do they come from?
What are they supposed to do?
Man, if you ask the government,
They don’t seem to have a clue.
Some people claim they’re lying,
They say some secret op we see,
The explanation keeps changing,
As they work to tweak our reality.
Ambiguity is their prime method,
They have been using it for years,
By not providing clear answers,
It does not help to allay our fears.
To think they do not really know,
You would be a fool to believe,
There’s one thing they’re good at,
And that’s surely how to deceive.
They constantly lie thru their teeth,
While they give you a straight face,
The dishonesty in our government,
Is really just one terrible disgrace.
They think that we are all so stupid,
Simply gullible sheep in their herd,
But the explanations they offer us,
Are all sounding really quite absurd.
So it is time for some real honesty,
Because distrust already runs high,
You wonder why so few believe you,
Well, because you tell us lie after lie.
