ETERNAL FRIENDSHIP

by Bill Kochman

01-05-2017

Not ev’ry lump of coal is a diamond,
Not ev’ry oyster has a great pearl,
Not ev’ry horse will win the race,
Not ev’ry boy will marry that girl.

Likewise are all true friendships,
They’re very rare occurrences indeed,
So if one should ever come along,
You’d do well to nourish that seed.

But there is a greater friendship,
One that will last for eternity,
Jesus Himself made it all possible,
When He chose to die for you and me.
