EVE

God’s love alone is enough,
Some Christians like to say,
But they all seem to forget,
What God did one special day.

Though he lived in the Garden,
And had many an animal friend,
The simple truth is just this,
Alone the Garden Adam did tend.

Seeing Adam’s sadness, God said,
It’s not good for him to be alone,
And thus, as a token of His love,
He made Eve from Adam’s bone.
