FAITH WALK

Some folks think that I am crazy,
Believing in what I cannot see,
Get your feet back on the ground,
And just forget all that religiosity.

Saying there’s nothing more to life,
There is simply the here and now,
But I refuse to even listen to them,
No, I won’t ever throw in the towel.

For if this life is really all there is,
Then certainly we each live in vain,
Tell me what then is the real point,
Of all our daily struggles and pain?

Thus I choose to remain convinced,
That each life has a purpose & plan,
Foreordained by our God in Heaven,
Before whom we’ll someday stand.

No, I don’t really require any proof,
The Bible’s enough evidence for me,
Blessed is that man who believes,
Even tho signs he may never see.

Thus this is my personal position,
Although some folks may not agree,
My prayer is that you’ll believe too,
And someday also walk in eternity.
