FALLEN NATION

You used to preach the Gospel,
Yes, a witness to the entire world,
But oh how you have backslidden,
With that gay pride flag unfurled.
Ever so slowly over the decades,
Your faith became compromised,
That Devil trapped you in his bag,
Yet you just never even realized.
A country that had so much light,
How could you go so very wrong,
Instead of singing about Heaven,
You proudly export Satan’s song.
You’ve forgotten the sacred steps,
Where long ago you had walked,
You have thrown out the Bible,
Yes, His Word you have mocked.
Like a stubborn, rebellious child,
You foolishly went your own way,
But be warned oh wicked nation,
God will deal with you someday.
