FALSE TEACHERS

There are so many opinions,
When it comes to God’s Word,
And I really have no doubt,
That a lot you have heard.

Folks convince themselves,
They have got it down right,
Be careful if you disagree,
They will try to pick a fight.

Everyone is now a prophet,
Or Bible teacher Spirit-led,
Filled with so much pride,
Deception clouds their head.

Convinced that God’s spoken,
They all sing their own song,
Thus they refuse to believe,
They can possibly be wrong.

So many misguided doctrines,
Yes, I see them everywhere,
They twist the holy Scriptures,
I just want to pull out my hair.

But the greatest tragedy of all,
Is when sheep are led astray,
They do not know any better,
So for them we ought to pray.
