FOCUSED

Forget about this wicked world,
Which will only deceive and lie,
Remain focused solely on Jesus,
And His great Kingdom in the sky.

There are so many distractions,
To draw us away from the Lord,
But we should never fall for them,
Rather be grounded in His Word.

Keep your eyes on your mission,
Share God’s truth far and wide,
Whatever He’s called you to do,
In that you must faithfully abide.

Don’t ever worry about the storm,
Though it madly rages all about,
And remember that your Savior,
For you is certainly looking out.

Though waves of darkness rise,
And devils scream in your ear,
With holy Angels on your side,
You really have nothing to fear.

Yes, carry on the Lord’s battle,
Proclaim His liberty and light,
Whatever your hand finds to do,
You must do with all your might.
