FUTURISM

by Bill Kochman

Futurism is a deception,
This you ought to know,
You’re looking for Jesus,
He won’t make a show.

Your timing is mixed up,
You have waited so long,
All the things you heard,
Were just so very wrong.

You speak of tribulation,
Whether pre, mid or post,
It really does not matter,
Of which one you boast.

For though you expect it,
You have been so misled,
All those fancy preachers,
Put rubbish in your head.

So twenty years from now,
Will you believe the same?
Be smart toss that doctrine,
Refuse to play their game.

Yes, go back to your Bible,
Read throughout the night,
And ask God’s Holy Spirit,
To teach you things right.

Futurism is like an opiate,
It keeps the brethren high,
I pray they will finally see,
It is really one devilish lie.
