GOD BLESS AMERICA?

So many people like to say,
America God should bless,
But it is time to wake up,
This nation’s in a big mess.
His blessing does not come,
If we aren’t willing to obey,
We are a rebellious people,
Proudly going our own way.
Sin and rebellion all around,
Defiant against God’s laws,
If judgment should soon fall,
Surely God has a just cause.
But few people even listen,
They say everything is well,
The Bible offers a warning,
Wicked are turned into hell.
Now is time for repentance,
Before it becomes too late,
If our hearts are not right,
Then we will meet our fate.
Yet they wave their flags,
So oblivious and in denial,
Shocked so many will be,
When God puts us on trial.
