HARD AS FLINT

You must preach the full truth,
No matter what some folks say,
Or you will be held accountable.
On God’s great Judgment Day.

Do not be afraid of their faces,
Even if they make them stern,
For truly unless they all repent,
It is certain that they will burn.

Like Ezekiel, deliver your soul,
As Isaiah with a face like flint,
Whether they continue to sin,
Or if they all choose to repent.

Your job is to deliver warning,
How they react is God’s affair,
You’ll have the peace knowing,
All their sins you will not bear.

For God will so find you faithful,
If the truth you don’t hold back,
So remain true to your calling,
No matter how hard they attack.
