HARVESTERS

If you are going to serve the Lord,
Then just do it with all your heart,
But if you intend to be lukewarm,
Well then please don’t even start.

The Lord desires faithful servants,
Who are willing to give it their all,
There is nothing more important,
Once God has given them His call.

Forsaking all they serve Him daily,
As they sow His seed in the field,
Personal desires take 2nd place,
As to their Father’s will they yield.

They’re on a very sacred mission,
Tending to this world full of wheat,
Striving to bring it into His barns,
Lest it should perish in the heat.

They remain focused on their duty,
Though the Devil tries to distract,
They are not ignorant of his tricks,
For Father has truly got their back.

And thus they bravely battle on,
Even though the dark forces rage,
Someday they’ll all be rewarded,
When their life turns its final page.
