HIS NET IS A SURE BET

Consider that when we are young,
It seems we just always like to fret,
And when we’ve reached adulthood,
We may often find ourselves in debt.
But by the time we’ve become old,
We realize God had our life all set,
So then if I may share my opinion,
The Lord is certainly one sure bet.
Oh, yes, what an important lesson,
Which I pray you will never forget,
We are safe in the arms of Jesus,
Because He caught us in His net.
You see He truly cares a lot for us,
You might even say we’re His pet,
So we should always trust in Him,
He’s the best friend we ever met.
I’ve reached the end of my poem,
The time has come for me to jet,
I trust you’ve enjoyed the lesson,
And that you didn’t just get all wet.
