HOLY GHOST HOUND

I could say what you want to hear,
But to God’s truth I am bound,
So I will always share His Word,
Although it makes you so unwound.
Yes, only the Gospel I will preach,
I just won’t make any other sound,
I am so sorry if that offends you,
And you no longer want me around.
If there is one thing I am sure of,
Indeed one truth I’ve surely found,
It is that if I stray from the Lord,
He will send His Holy Ghost hound.
So go right ahead and reject me,
If that’s what you’ve chosen to do,
Yet let me one more thing tell you,
You’ll wind up in a terrible stew.
