HYPOCRITE

by Bill Kochman

01-08-2017

He looked into the mirror,
And what did that man see?
Oh what a great Christian,
The very finest that can be.

So he pulled out his cigar,
Saying “Man! I’m the best!”,
But God was not so pleased,
And said “Oh give it a rest!

Your boasting so sickens me,
And your hypocrisy I detest,
Now before you pat yourself,
Obey my Word to pass my test.”
