LUNACY MIX-UP

by Bill Kochman

11-02-2023

This silly poem is a work of art,
You see it rhymes so many times,
Indeed from finish to the start,
Just as do green limes and mimes,

Although sanity may soon depart,
There are even enzymes and primes,
Yet my lunacy I will still impart,
Likewise exist climes and dimes,

Say you I am a foolish old fart?
Now don’t forget grimes and slimes,
Or maybe I am just overly smart?
Alas, my chimes are verbal crimes.
