MARCH ON!

by Bill Kochman

02-19-2023

You must be willing to march on,
Even if you are marching alone,
For not everyone is fit for battle,
And they will end up going home.

Family & friends may not make it,
If to this world they are still tied,
Concerning you, Christian soldier,
Remember that for you Jesus died.

Oh such a contradiction of sinners,
Yet the Lord resisted unto blood,
So be not weary, and do not faint,
Tho they drag you through the mud.

Looking forward, keep on fighting,
Knowing that you are Heaven bound,
Even though everyone deserts you,
And no longer even want you around.

Remain faithful, preach the Gospel,
And let your light so brightly shine,
Then one day when your job is over,
You’ll live in God’s Kingdom divine.
