MISS SHIFTY

Well just look at that ole Miss Shifty,
Her responses are so much like air,
It appears like she said something,
But there’s just no substance there.

She is more dodging than a Dodger,
As she skirts the questions asked,
Ah, come on now, Miss Candidate,
Is answering such a difficult task?

Your constituents deserve answers,
Not the silly word salads you toss,
But if you just refuse to get serious,
It could well be your election loss.

So go ahead, keep playing games,
Make all the salads that you like,
But don’t dare whine and complain,
When voters tell you to take a hike.
