MY HOME IN HEAVEN

by Bill Kochman

05-04-2014

How I long for my Home in Heaven,
Away from this wicked Earth,
Where smiles are often daggers,
And sadness disguised as mirth.

People have become so shallow,
Not saying what they truly mean,
So quick to use one another,
This life has become so obscene.

But in my real Home in Heaven,
No one is played for the fool,
Our Father carries a big stick,
And Love is the Golden Rule.
