MY TWO CATS

by Bill Kochman

Some people like dogs,
While others like rats,
Or maybe you dig frogs,
But I love my two cats.

Playing all the day,
Romping all around,
When nighttime comes,
They don’t make a sound.

Sleeping in my bed,
My toes stay so warm,
You think I am weird?
For us it’s the norm.

Underneath my blanket,
Just snoozing away,
So comfy and cozy,
Wherever they lay.

I just love my life,
With my furry friends,
It makes me happy,
I hope it never ends.
