NO LINK I THINK

by Bill Kochman

They say we all come from apes,
And not from when Eve Adam knew,
But I have to soundly disagree,
Their claims simply are not true.

For many years, as you will know,
They’ve talked of a missing link,
But excuse me for being so blunt,
They just don’t know how to think.

Either that or they know the truth,
But His Word they choose to reject,
So they teach kids all their lies,
And to this I must strongly object.

We came not from monkeys in a tree,
Or from a protoplasm in some lake,
God created us in His own image,
Of this there is just no mistake.

It really comes down to one thing,
You believe the Bible or you don’t,
But if you dare call God a liar,
Going to Heaven you surely won’t.
