ODDBALL

They consider you an oddball,
Oh, yes, just some Jesus quack,
They hate what you stand for,
And cast darts behind your back.

They are children of this world,
But you belong to Heaven’s King,
They walk in spiritual darkness,
They don’’t understand anything.

That is why they really hate you,
They’re all denizens of the night,
So whenever you come around,
They can’t handle your holy light.

But now you can try to win them,
A few may possibly see your way,
But most will just refuse to follow,
And go the broad, destructive way.

Although they may just reject you,
Please take comfort my dear friend,
Because God sees you are faithful,
And you’ll surely see Him in the end.
