OIL OF THE SPIRIT

by Bill Kochman

08-30-2014

A fish cast out of water,
Will not last very long,
A bird with no singing,
Would be a very sad song.

A frog without his croak,
Would be so strange indeed,
So it is with God’s children,
Of His Spirit we have need.

Without His anointing oil,
We’re so helpless and small,
We won’t burn very brightly,
No one will notice us at all.
