ONLINE FRIENDS

by Bill Kochman

If you want to be my online friend,
Then God’s garden you need to tend.
Yes, feed His sheep, do not be shy,
Share the Word till the day you die.

If a light under a bushel is hidden,
I will conclude you are backslidden.
Jesus said if of Him we are ashamed,
Before the Judge we will be blamed.

So, I want friends who are on fire,
Who other brethren they can inspire.
But if in fact you just never post,
Sorry, friend, your request is toast.

I’ve no interest in the walking dead,
So burn bright for the Lord instead.
Now if you do, then there’s a chance,
I may possibly take a second glance.

Thus, my friend, it is all up to you,
I will be waiting to see what you do.
