I really love writing poetry. In fact, since 2014, I have written over 1,020 poems, over half of which have already been converted into actual songs. While most are Christian in nature, I have also composed political poems, humorous poems, poems about human relationships, and a lot more. As each new year continues to pass,
The choice becomes that more clear,
You are either walking in God’s light,
Or lost in Satan’s darkness and fear.
There is currently a great war raging,
Although not known or seen by men,
It’s a terrible battle for our very souls,
Which will end only God knows when.
The war is fought with words & thots,
To influence what we’ll each believe,
We can place our faith in God’s Word,
Or allow Satan our minds to deceive.
For people who have not yet chosen,
It is quite certain their day will come,
The time for just sitting on the fence,
Will most assuredly at last be done.
For God will truly sift each one’s soul,
That He may know what lies therein,
Now if you have wisely chosen Christ,
There will be forgiveness for your sin.
But those who have rejected the light,
Shall be subjected to God’s great ire,
Because if they’ve refused to repent,
They will be cast into a hot lake of fire.
