We have all been damaged goods,
Husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends, wives,
Hurt and abused, deceived and misused,
Someone or something shattered our lives.
Knowing sunshine and rain, joy and pain,
We have been left so completely broken,
A loved one lost, a special one tossed,
Or a word unwittingly and harshly spoken.
But the Lord can use these tragic events,
To make us what He desires us to be,
He will pick up all the scattered pieces,
And set us right back there on His knee.
A shot was fired, the children all ran,
That is how the massacre began.
Some kid got a gun, it wasn’t too hard,
He picked off children, in the schoolyard.
No one knows why, he did what he did,
He popped pills, maybe he flipped his lid.
No more words, action is what we need,
Time to bring law enforcement up to speed.
Gun owners resist, they put up a fight,
But killing our kids is just not right.
No more excuses, no more mistakes,
Rein in this problem by whatever it takes.

It is odd, but even in their great destructive power, we find volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, typhoons, etc., awe-inspiring. The tremendous power which God has imbued in the natural creation demands our respect.
“The truth is out there” is a popular slogan which was adopted from the wildly popular sci-fi TV show “X-Files”, which ran in the USA from 1993 to 2002.
This show featured FBI special agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, who are investigators for the X-Files division. This division handles marginalized, unsolved cases which happen to involve paranormal activity. While Fox Mulder is a believer in aliens and UFOs and the paranormal, his partner, Dana Scully, is quite the skeptic . . . at least at first.
While the show encouraged belief in the alien and UFO phenomenon, the point of this graphic is to encourage people to focus on the real source of truth; that is, God’s Word.
