Please notice some of the firm, reassuring words and phrases that are used in the following verses :
I change not
for ever
the same
no variableness
neither shadow of turning
true from the beginning
endureth for ever
standeth for ever
to all generations
My counsel shall stand
I will do all my pleasure
hath he said, and shall he not do it?
hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
immutability of his counsel
by two immutable things
anchor of the soul
both sure and stedfast
Can there be any doubt then that God and His Word are our constant, and the anchor of our soul?

Some of my online friends insist,
That our planet is actually flat,
But when I strive to correct them,
Man, they just cannot handle that.
Now when you try to present them,
With many solid scientific facts,
They all reveal their true colors,
Even threaten with a verbal axe.
Oh so many silly lies and excuses,
They dream up in their crazy head,
While they’re indeed so very wrong,
They cast the blame on you instead.
They’ll attempt to turn the tables,
Demanding proof the Earth is round,
While they are the ones who do err,
With no ideas scientifically sound.
They will twist verses in the Bible,
To make them say what was not meant,
Their interpretation is very faulty,
But they simply will not even repent.
Well I will patiently give them time,
As I try hard to change their views,
Yet the time still eventually arrives,
When such absurdity gives me the blues,
So I’ll then decide to just back away,
I gave them a good chance to rethink,
But they refused to listen to reason,
From the truth well they will not drink.
My friends, it’s indeed a sad occasion,
When people knowingly choose deception,
Their pride will not let them back down,
So they refuse to accept the correction.
Blindness will continue to surround them,
While they all stumble about in the night,
Now Prophet Isaiah warned of such people,
Who walk in darkness and yet call it light.
I apologize that I haven’t been able to visit each of your timelines personally in order to leave you a personal note of gratitude, but to be honest, there have just been too many of you who have accepted my friend request, and I do keep quite busy with the Bill’s Bible Basics ministry.
