The Book of Revelation informs us that at this current time, God’s Temple exists in Heaven. Within that Temple sits the very Throne of God the Father Himself, as well as that of the Lamb, which are mentioned in fourteen different chapters. However, at the same time, the Book of Revelation also informs us that when the Heavenly City — New Jerusalem — descends to the New Earth, there will be no Temple in it. However, the Throne of God the Father, and of the Lamb, will be in the Heavenly City.
“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.” Revelation 3:12, KJV

We have all, at some point in our lives, felt that we have been unfairly treated, and that injustices have been committed against us. But as Christian brethren, should we go to the worldly courts of the unbelievers to resolve our problems? Consider the wise advice of Jesus, and the Apostles Peter and Paul. Clearly, we are told to endure the offense — even if we suffer wrongfully — and to not strike back, in a court of the world, or otherwise. Being as Jesus made Himself “of no reputation”, is our pride and our reputation more important than following the peaceful advice of God’s Word?
“Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
