When you are in a fix and feeling blue,
If things go wrong and you’re in a stew,
Don’t look within as if you’re the boss,
Lift up your eyes to the blessed Cross.
God sees your trials, and He has a Plan,
Let go of your fears and take His Hand.
Trust in the Lord with all your might,
He knows the way in the darkest night.
God never fails, His sacred Word is sure,
Though big waves assail, you will endure.
The clouds will part and winds will cease,
Fears will vanish as you embrace His peace.
Faithfulness is just doing what you do,
And doing it reliably every single day,
It’s demonstrating your trustworthiness,
Regardless of whatever comes your way.
Faithfulness is being obedient to God,
And doing your very best in your tasks,
It’s denying yourself and your pleasures,
And just doing whatever the Lord asks.
Faithfulness also means being full of faith,
And knowing that God is trustworthy too,
It is confidence that despite your trials,
God will always reliably see you through.
The Well of the Spirit, it runs so deep,
Life-giving waters for those who weep.
Endless, boundless, it never runs out,
Filling us with faith and never a doubt.
Refreshing, inspiring, pleasing our soul,
Binding all wounds, and making us whole.
Man’s water is bottled, sold for a fee,
Jesus paid a Price, God’s water is free.
Come, drink now, partake of this delight,
Fill with the Spirit, bathe in the Light.
Put down your burden, partake of this cup,
If you wait too long, your time will be up.
Liberals claim that our faith is dead,
That our candle has grown quite dark,
But I am here to tell you very clearly,
That we have still got the spark.
Mass media too spreads a web of lies,
They say Christians are on the wane,
But I shoot back, it is another attack,
Because the Church still makes a gain.
Atheists insist our numbers are small,
While they watch their followers rise,
But here’s my take, it’s a big mistake,
Because to Hell he’ll go when he dies.

The belief that God cannot look upon evil is apparently a false, modern doctrine which is not based upon the Scriptures. Consider what the Bible really has to say concerning this issue:
“The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15:3, KJV
“For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.” Job 34:21, KJV

“But he did that which was EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them;” 2 Chronicles 33:22, KJV
“Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.” Psalm 90:8, KJV
“For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:14, KJV
“Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.” Jeremiah 23:24, KJV
“He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.” Daniel 2:22, KJV
“. . . Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.” Mark 4:21b-22, KJV
Not only does God look upon evil, but contrary to what some Christians believe, the Scriptures inform us that He creates evil as well, as we see by these verses:
“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” Isaiah 45:7, KJV
“Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?” Amos 3:6, KJV
“Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?” Lamentations 3:38, KJV
