Oh you’re so smart, you stiff old fart,
You sit there in your pride and gloat,
You brag about your life without God,
And won’t jump into His Salvation boat.
So full of doubt, you better watch out,
Death comes soon knocking at your door,
Open your heart now and let the Lord in,
Before your smug face hits that floor.
It’s your last chance, don’t even glance,
At the lies the Devil throws your way,
For if you do, you are really through,
And for your own sins you’ll have to pay.
Stay focused, you’ve got a job to do,
Stay focused, ignore the Devil’s boo.
Stay focused, though the lions roar,
Stay focused, lead folks to the Door.
Stay focused, when the naysayers bite,
Stay focused, you will win this fight.
Stay focused, your eyes upon the Lord,
Stay focused, hold tightly your sword.
Stay focused, though waves crash down,
Stay focused, you will get your Crown.
Stay focused, the battle’s almost won,
Stay focused, behold the light of dawn.
“And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.” Exodus 13:21-22, KJV
“And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.” Exodus 14:24-25, KJV
“And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses. And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.” Exodus 33:9-10, KJV
“And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou LORD art among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and that thy cloud standeth over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.” Numbers 14:14, KJV

“Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go . . . “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin . . . If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:7, 9, KJV
“Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.” Deuteronomy 10:16, KJV

“Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.” Philippians 3:2-3, KJV
“For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” Romans 2:28-29, KJV
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10, KJV

“Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.” Philippians 3:2, KJV
“Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.” Titus 1:9-11, KJV
When those false Jewish brethren tried to convince the new Christian disciples in Galatia that circumcision was still necessary, consider what Paul wrote to the Galatian brethren. He rebuked them:
“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.” Galatians 3:1-4, KJV
When Peter returned to Jerusalem after visiting with Paul, the circumcised Jews criticized Peter for eating with uncircumcised Gentiles:
“And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God. And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him, Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.” Acts 11:1-3, KJV
But look how the meeting in Jerusalem in Acts 15 turned out. The Church Elders in Jerusalem agreed that circumcision was not necessary for Salvation for the new Gentile converts to Christianity :
“Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.” Acts 15:10-11, KJV
The Biblical conclusion, regarding circumcision, or any other physical act to try to save ourselves, is simply this: They are all self-righteous works which do us absolutely no good whatsoever insofar as our Salvation is concerned:
