ROBOT POLITICS

I am just your little robot,
I do exactly as you command,
You say it’s time to go to war,
I agree your plan is grand.
You say some foreign leader,
Wants to bring our nation down,
I admire your great wisdom,
So blow up that dirty clown.
Well thanks for thinking for me,
You put my mind at so much ease,
If ever I should disappoint you,
You can just shut me down please.

ROAD TO HELL

The Devil was after you,
But you couldn’t even tell,
Friends tried to warn you,
You did not hear the bell.
Satan said “I’m a friend”,
You thot it was so swell,
He then lied yet again,
Said “You are such a pal.”
Blinded by all his tricks,
You bought his slick sell,
Oh it was a big mistake,
Your wisdom was a fail.
He enticed you to sin,
It was beyond the pale,
So it’s little wonder now,
You’re chained in a cell.
Down the hall others cry,
They shriek, moan & wail,
They were just like you,
Believed his evil tale.
You thot you were smart,
God’s Word you did bail,
But now just look at you,
Your sitting here in Hell.

ROAD OF FAITH

The road I have traveled,
Has been so very long,
Tho not always faithful,
By Grace I continue on.
There have been obstacles,
And detours along the way,
Lessons were learned there,
God said I could not stay.
So forward I march on now,
As long as I have breath,
May God be ever glorified,
Till the day I see my death.

RIVER JOURNEY

I don’t claim to have it all right,
And know I’ve got some of it wrong,
I strive to discover God’s truth,
As His Holy Spirit leads me along.
My quest is a lifelong journey,
There’s so many paths to explore,
I grasp a verse of the Scriptures,
But still wonder about five more.
God’s Word is such a deep wonder,
A great flowing river without end,
I sail along with such excitement,
To see what’s around the next bend.

RISE ABOVE IT ALL

It is a wonderful feeling,
To know God is in control,
While Satan tries to bury us,
And throw us in some hole.
So many are our battles,
Our afflictions are not few,
If it were not for Jesus,
We wouldn’t know what to do.
But the Lord is ever present,
With His help we stand tall,
Despite the Devil’s devices,
We can rise above it all.

RIGHTEOUS ROD

In this current day and age,
Some think it strange and odd,
That our Heavenly Father above,
Still may use His righteous rod.
You see, people on this Earth,
Have often become way too lax,
Punishing kids is way outdated,
We don’t dare touch their backs.
They also promote a God of love,
Not a wrathful one of years ago,
But if you rebel, be real sure,
God will definitely let you know.

RIGHTEOUS KINGDOM

The world is filled with so much division,
Rich live in luxury, poor can’t make it by,
It is time to embrace a brand new vision,
So everyone gets a fair piece of the pie.
But such plans go against our human nature,
Selfishness & greed are the rule of the day,
Corrupt laws are passed in the legislature,
Where the rich and powerful hold full sway.
But in God’s Kingdom things are much better,
Love reigns throughout that majestic land,
The Lord holds each citizen to the letter,
As He rules righteously with a strong hand.

RIGHT BACK ON YOUR HEAD

You thought you were oh so intelligent,
When you carried out your devious plot,
But what you obviously did not realize,
Is that by God you were already caught.
The Lord saw what you were planning,
He heard every word that you had said,
But He wanted to teach you a big lesson,
So now it’s come right back on your head.
If there’s one thing you’re now learning,
And if there’s one thing you should know,
By now it should be painfully obvious,
That we all reap exactly what we sow.

Everything is clean?
So many darn poops,
They make me stoops.
Down on all fours,
As I clean the floors.
Cats so drive me nuts.
Clean your own butts!
I am not your slave,
So please just behave!
Mercy you have none,

RIGHT BACK AT YOU!

God’s Word offers us great wisdom,
For those who would place a snare,
Before you choose to sow mischief,
Consider what is written there.
We’re told that he who digs a pit,
Will most assuredly fall therein,
So unless you just want to suffer,
You simply better not even begin.
It is wiser to act with kindness,
And refrain from any evil intent,
For God will reward you accordingly,
If on being naughty you are bent.

REVOLUTION

The revolution finally came,
No, not from the left or the right,
It was simply a prisoner rebellion,
Against Facebook’s liberal might.
So tired of all their oppression,
Many wearied folks heard the call,
They wanted back their freedom,
Though it meant Zuckerberg’s fall.
Thus breaking off all their chains,
And cutting through Zuck’s net,
It was like a breath of fresh air,
A decision they would not regret.

RETURN TO THE FATHER

We think that God will look the other way,
When we willfully choose to go astray.
So with stubborn pride, we flaunt our sins,
And that is when our real trouble begins.
Our God is patient, merciful and kind,
But if we rebel, He’ll swat our behind.
A wise father, He gives us what we need,
Spankings too, if we refuse to take heed.
Despite our sadness, He knows what’s best,
His only desire is that we pass the test.
Though His anger be kindled for a spell,
If we just repent, all will soon be well.

RESERVATION BOOK

You can have the books of men,
Which fill up this whole Earth,
But there is one above them all,
Which determines our true worth.
It’s not found in some great hall,
No, not anywhere across any land,
For it resides in Heaven above,
And is signed by the Son of Man.
Now if your name is found therein,
Your place in Heaven is for sure,
But if not, receive Jesus today,
So a reservation you can secure.

REPENTANCE

Repentance is not very easy,
It can be a difficult ride,
We’ll only get good results,
When humility is our guide.
But honesty must come first,
Recognizing we have sinned,
Once we confess our errors,
Then our healing will begin.
God desires to restore us,
He waits patiently it’s true,
But the ball is in your court,
Now exactly what will you do?

Somewhere along your stubborn way,
You must’ve made a really bad turn,
Now unless you get right with God,
Looks like you’re just gonna burn.
Don’t wait too long, better repent,
‘Cause that Devil’s got your number,
Whatever you do, just don’t rebel,
And prove that you’re even dumber.
God is waiting with His open arms,
So confess your sins right fast,
If you do, He’ll forget them all,
And just leave them in your past.

REMEMBERED

I want to be remembered,
But it’s just not about me,
I simply want them to know,
That I believe in Eternity.
And so I write each day,
As the Spirit leads me on,
Hoping my work moves someone,

I will have the satisfaction,
Of knowing I did my very best.

RELIGION OF PEACE?

Is Islam really a religion of peace,
As many Muslims always try to show?
No, Allah’s curse is on nonbelievers,
Muhammad wrote this, you should know.
Take not for friends Christian or Jew,
Yes, their prophet even said that too.
Fight and seize any who do not believe,
Hands and feet cut off they’ll receive,
Enslave, tax, crucify, give no reprieve,
Remove their head, this life they leave.
None of these things Jesus ever taught,
Religion of peace? Islam is surely not.

RELIGION OF ERRORS

Relics under the altar,
Mother Mary without sin,
Tell me where in the world,
Did all this nonsense begin?
Pope’s word above the Bible,
To dead idols they all pray,
Don’t they stop to wonder,
What the Bible has to say?
Pedophiles abuse children,
No one breaths a single word,
Bishops just turn their heads,
As if they hadn’t even heard.
Priests mumble magic words,
So wine and wafer are changed,
With so many strange beliefs,
They all must be deranged.
Then Mary rises to Heaven,
Now co-mediatrix and queen,
Oh what terrible blasphemy,
The worst I have ever seen.
A religion full of errors,
Leading so many folks astray,
May God open their blind eyes,
What else can we even pray?

REGIME CHANGE

Of all the things humans have devised,
One shrewd ploy is a leader demonized.
You make him look so bad in the press,
You say his people he loves to oppress.
You paint that man as black as can be,
And then you go in with your own army.
Regime change is the order of the day,
It doesn’t matter what the locals say.
Y
ou have the power, so you’re the boss,
Those nationals will accept their loss.
After all, democracy is what you bring,
Oh my gosh; it has such a hollow ring.

REFLECTIONS

I have been young and now I am old,
I oft failed and was out in the cold.
I tasted the bitter and of the sweet,
I knew of success as well as defeat.
Love touched my heart but so did hate,
I took my chance and played with fate.
Through it all I’ve learned one thing,
Earthly pleasures will not joy bring.
God alone can fill one’s empty heart,
To think otherwise is not very smart.
So listen well and take heed dear one,
Trust in God’s Mercy thru His own Son.
