Why do you take what has been fulfilled,
And try to apply it to this present time?
What you are doing is completely wrong,
It amounts to a serious doctrinal crime.
God’s Holy Word is not some kind of toy,
That you can simply twist to your desire,
If you do not stop with your foolishness,
Don’t be surprised if you end up in fire.
So before you attempt to teach the Bible,
You better make sure you’ve got it right,
If you change it to support your doctrine,
The Lord could cast you out of His sight.
Yet despite a warning in the Scriptures,
This is precisely what those Futurists do,
Pushing fulfilled prophecy to the present,
Man, those folks just haven’t got a clue.
They’re so drunk on man-made doctrines,
That have been preached for 200 years,
But when what they think doesn’t happen,
Watch how many will be filled with tears.
No doubt there’ll be great disappointment,
But they’ll only have themselves to blame,
As for the false teachers who taught them,
They’ll be embarrassed and full of shame.
