I may seem strong, but I’m really weak,
I may seem loud, but I’m actually meek.
I may seem smart, but I don’t know a lot,
When it comes to girls, I’m not so hot.
Just a regular joe, is what I really am,
I’m not your dream date, forget it ma’am.
But what I’ve got, I will share with you,
Just tell me now if you really want me to.
It is in God’s Word that I truly delight,
I groove on the Bible all through the nite.
I feed His sheep with pics, poems and more,
When the Sun comes up, I drop on the floor.

Have you heard about Social Security?
They want to raise the retirement age,
The government is up to more antics,
So with good reason it’s causing rage.
But I am feeling compelled to warn you,
Please don’t dare to accept their spin,
Because by pushing the age up to 70,
So many fewer people will ever cash in.
They say folks live longer and healthier,
Thus raising the age limit is fair to do,
But I refuse to accept their deception,
And if you’re smart you won’t do it too.
Now what they will just never tell you,
Is that many folks never see a dime,
If you are wondering how this can be,
Well, they die before retirement time.
Their whole life they paid the system,
Hoping they’d hit the age of sixty-five,
But never once did it occur to them,
That they might not even still be alive.
So do you understand my main point,
Why raising the age is such a ruse?
Even fewer will ever see their check,
Yet paying taxes we just can’t refuse.
So millions now contribute into FICA,
Believing some day they’ll get it back,
But those pols want to make it harder,
Maybe we should give them all flack.
They claim SS is almost out of money,
Yet our gov sends billions to Ukraine,
Why do they help so many foreigners,
While Americans feel financial pain?
The Bible’s clear regarding the issue,
One’s own family should come first,
So stop financing those other nations,
And maybe the SS dam won’t burst.

As evil as he was, God used Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar — who He called “my servant” — to siege Jerusalem three times, and ultimately to destroy it — along with the Temple — and then to take the Jews captive for seventy years. He used the Assyrians and the Romans in the same way.

“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst . . . I am that bread of life . . .
