PAWING TO HELL

by Bill Kochman

01-05-2017

I’m so sorry you’re behind bars,
But it was of your own making,
Jesus Christ offered us freedom,
It was really yours for the taking.

But in your foolish, stubborn pride,
You chose instead to trust the law,
Now you work so hard for Salvation,
As you just scratch and dig and paw.

I can tell you now it is all useless,
You will never get out of your cell,
Unless you repent and turn to Jesus,
You’ll paw yourself straight to Hell.
