PREACH THE TRUTH!

Some online Christians like to say,
The truth is what they’re all about,
Yet when I see what they preach,
It is clear they are not sorted out.

In all of the New Testament books,
We see a message made so plain,
A story of God’s Son & our Savior,
Who desires Salvation we obtain.

If we do not focus on this theme,
And the message which He gave,
Then we’re failing in our mission,
And all the world He died to save.

Exposing government corruption,
May have some degree of worth,
But talking about other subjects,
Won’t lead to one’s second birth.

You can discuss planetary shape,
Or did we really land on the Moon,
There is also JFK’s assassination,
And exposing a political buffoon.

There are indeed a lot of things,
Which you claim is sharing truth,
But if you so rarely preach Jesus,
There is just no convincing proof.

So how will friends possibly know,
If under a bushel your light is hid,
They need to hear the true Gospel,
And all the things which Jesus did.

As the Lord informed those Jews,
The truth will indeed make us free,
The wonderful story about Jesus,
Is the one truth friends need to see.
