REJECTED!

Yes, so many turn against us,
They hate us more each day,
Refusing the light we share,
And rejecting God’s holy way.
They are lovers of darkness,
Hiding their sins in the night,
Try to tell them God’s Word,
For them it is just too bright.
No, they don’t want to listen,
They prefer the Devil’s lies,
So they mock and avoid us,
Tho we try to open their eyes.
It’s such a very sad situation,
When someone’s heart is hard,
They put up all their defenses,
Never letting down their guard.
Though we try to save them,
By telling them about the Lord,
They sink in sin’s mirky waters,
And refuse to jump on board.
Someday they’ll surely know,
How foolish they have been,
While others enter God’s City,
The angels won’t let them in.
