ROUGH WATERS

This world is surely a mess,
We all know this to be true,
But please don’t ever forget,
God is watching out for you.

You may not always know it,
Or it may not seem the case,
He’s got your back, you won’t,
Be removed from your place.

Tho in rough waters you sail,
Where waves rise up so high,
Your Father will keep you safe,
You’ll remain so warm and dry.

Oh but how the Devil will taunt,
Trying to steal your faith away,
But if you’re a very smart sailor,
Just ignore what he has to say.

Keep your eyes on the Captain,
For He knows the way ahead,
He’ll steer you to a safe harbor,
There’s nothing for you to dread.
