SAND CASTLES

There’s way too much confusion,
Spread across our world today,
Politicians spewing their lies,
Don’t listen to a word they say.

It’s just power, fame and money,
They seek as their one true goal,
But as for the suffering little men,
They don’t care about your soul.

Yes, fast-talking career politicans,
Richer one deception at a time,
Shady deals underneath the table,
Yet they rarely pay for their crime.

Meanwhile all of the poor people,
Struggling hard to make ends meet,
So often they run out of resources,
And end up living on some street.

But God above is keeping a record,
Oppression of the poor He does hate,
While the elite may now build castles,
One day they will meet a nasty fate.
