SELFISHNESS

by Bill Kochman

01-04-2017

We humans are so selfish,
Our big rule is “me first”,
Personal desires and ego,
Are an unquenchable thirst.

What is best for ourselves,
Always ahead of the line,
If other people get hurt,
Oh well, that is just fine.

But this way is contrary,
To Heaven’s Law of Love,
We should help each other,
And not just push and shove.
