SKINNY OLD DUDE

by Bill Kochman

05-05-2014

I am just a skinny old dude,
Some say too sharp, a little too rude.
But I cannot help how I was made,
Designed before the Earth was laid.

‘Twas God who crafted my every part,
Knew what I’d be like from the start.
A mere vessel of clay in His Hand,
Is that not how we all began?

We were made for His own pleasure,
Within us His Spirit, is our treasure.
Someday to God we shall return,
For this we all patiently yearn.
