SOUTH OF THE BORDER

by Bill Kochman

12-14-2016

Are you really a blessing,
Or just a spiritual drain?
‘Cause no one wants to hear,
Constantly about your pain.

We all have enough problems,
Even more as we grow old,
Talking about nothing else,
Can just leave a person cold.

So please let a few praises,
Proceed more from your mouth,
And let all of your sad groans,
Take a serious detour south.
