SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS

by Bill Kochman

01-11-2017

The scales on a person’s eyes,
They can be oh so very thick,
They just do not understand,
Though you hit them with a brick.

You try to give them God’s Light,
Yet they just stumble in the dark,
You try to give them the truth,
Yet they refuse to accept a spark.

And thus is spiritual blindness,
Amongst the vain and the proud,
God really wants to reach them,
But to ignorance they are vowed.
